Unidentified Flying Objects
---------------------------

1 Reference is made to External Affairs request on behalf of the High
Commissioners Office at London with respect to "Flying Saucers".

2 The RCAF does not have the investigative capability to deal with
these phenomena. The Department of Transport however, has a Mr. W.B.
Smith, who is ex-officio Canadian Chairman of the National Investigations
Committee on Aerial Phenomena, at Washington, DC. This gentleman is
the most likely person to have information which the High Commissioner
requires.
