Dear Sir,
Thank you for your letter of 14 January regarding Canadian
project for the investigation of Unidentified Flying Objects and
seeking the views and policy of our government regarding UFOs.
Because be do not have the informaion you seek, we are for-
warding your letter to Air Force Headquarters and have asked them
to give you a reply whenever they are able. We would mention,
although this is not what you are seeking, that in Ottawa there
does exist a committee called the National Research Council
Associate committee of Meteorites which is anxious to receive re-
ports of any sightings of falling meteors in Canada.
Yours faithfully,
- signed -

Flight Lieutenant,
Public Relations Officer,
