A lady watches a
twirling saucer over the beach we call
Sauble Beach North today, which is located on the eastern shore of Lake
Huron about 2 1/2 hours north of London, Ontario. The saucer would have left moving to the northeast if
it flew towards Wiarton. Here is the newspaper article:
Sauble Saucer Whistled
Along
Owen Sound
(CP) -- Mrs. Thede Seaman
of Hepworth today reported she saw and heard a "flying saucer" over the mouth
of the Sauble river about 20 miles west of here.
It had a irregular edge like a mashed gear,
was colored half blue and half white, appeared to be twirling and made a
whistling sound as it came in over Lake Huron she said.
Reaching the river's mouth, it slowly rose
again and disappeared in the direction of Wiarton. Mrs Seaman was alone at the
time.
