On August 6th, 1990 at about 11:00 P.M. John Waters of Lake Placid, New York was travelling to Owen Sound on a side Rd. in a secluded area near Holland Centre, just south of Owen Sound, when he spotted a small spot of light in front of his yellow sports car.
The small light transformed into a two foot spiral of light that started to circle his car, as if checking it out.
A small probe-like apendature came out of the object and appeared to be touching his vehicle.
The driver was in a state of shock at this time.
The spiral appeared to have a flat surface that acted like a face and started examining both the driver and then his car, then back to the driver and then to the car, as if trying to discover the relatinship between the two.
After the object disappeared instantaneously, the driver took off at a very high speed and claims to have drove away so fast as to break the speedometer of his Datsun 300 ZX sports car.
Once he checked into a local motel for the night, the nervous driver called Barry Arnold immediately to report his wild tale.
Up to that point John Waters was a skeptic when it came to the topic of UFOs.
